Sartorius Vivaspin Turbo 15 RC 10'000 MWCO

Vivaspin Turbo 15 RC can concentrate samples with up to 15 ml sample volume in a swing-out rotor or up to 9 ml in a fixed angle rotor, which are suitable for 50 ml centrifuge tubes.

The newly developed Regenerated Cellulose Membrane (RC) ensures optimal recovery, high retention and concentration rate for ultrafiltration applications in the laboratory.

The new Vivaspin Turbo RC extend the existing Vivaspin Turbo Polyethersulphone (PES) portfolio and offer the user a wide range of combinations and choices for any kind of sample.

In addition to the Vivaspin Turbo PES product portfolio, which offers high recovery, the Vivaspin Turbo centrifugal concentrators are the only 4-15 ml centrifugal units with the choice between PES and RC membrane

The optimised design of the Vivaspin Turbo 15 RC allows up to 100 times higher concentration and guarantees a maximum filtration speed down to the last microlitre. 

The Vivaspin Turbo series can generally be regarded as the fastest units available on the market in its volume range from 4 to 15 ml.

The adhesive-free ultrasonic welding technology allows a clean connection of the membrane to the plastic housing, which guarantees a complete concentration of the sample in the pipetting-friendly dead-stop reservoir.

Extreme temperatures, humidity and exposure to many cleaning agents have no effect on the robust and reliable housing material. This results in a high chemical and environmental resistance for all applications.

The smooth and slim interior design, as well as the large vertical double membranes allow fast and efficient concentration.

The housing is made of polypropylene and styrene-butadiene, which guarantees high chemical resistance for pH values from 1 to 14.
