Datamatrix Coding for Cryogenic Storage Tubes

 
With the option for Datamatrix coding Greiner Bio-One adds a beneficial feature to its well-tried range of Cryo.s™. Datamatrices are burned with a laser into the polymer of the modified tube bottom, thus appearing as a white mark on black background. This labelling procedure guarantees a constantly high contrast and excellent readability of the Datamatrix. Only Datamatrices with readability grades A and B pass quality control 1. Furthermore, laser-written Datamatrices are strongly resistant to mechanical damage, abrasion, very low temperatures and other external hazards (e.g. aggressive chemicals). Virtually any kind of information such as sequential sample IDs or consistent characters can be encoded in the Datamatrix.



Datamatrix coding is available for:

  • 1 ml Cryo.s™ with internal thread (Cat.-No. 123 2XX)
  • 2 ml Cryo.s™ with internal thread (Cat.-No. 122 2XX)
  • 2 ml Cryo.s™ with external thread (Cat.-No. 126 2XX)
  • 4 ml Cryo.s™ with external thread (Cat.-No. 127 2XX)
