Ready for installation plastic housing made of ABS (IP66) that prevents accidental contact of live parts. With clearly labelled housing screw connections to connect up to 2 b.safe Filling Level Sensors and to operate them safely in explosion-proof areas. Incl. power supply (90-264 V / 47-63 Hz) with plug adapter for EU, Australia, USA, Japan, and UK. The installation of b.safe Isolated Amplifier and the connection of the signal cable has to be carried out by qualified personnel.

Applications

Enclosed housing for an installation e.g. at the rear side of a safety cabinet. Safe signal exchange between explosion-hazardous and explosion-proof areas by galvanic isolation of the sensor side and the output side. By using the b.safe Isolated Amplifier in the explosion-proof area, its electronic alerting system prevents ignitable sparks from arising in the explosive atmosphere around the sensors. Combined with the b.safe Display, the b.safe Isolated Amplifier enables an automatic recognition of damaged or not property connected or sensors as well as line breaks. If the b.safe Isolated Amplifier can be used with filling level monitoring devices of other brands, has to be checked individually.
