Without rebated lid, inner width 9.5 mm, base thickness 1.5 mm. QH or UV are the trademarks that characterise quartz glass that is melted from natural crystal (rock crystal). We use HERASIL quartz glass from Heraeus Quarzglas GmbH, or equivalent materials from other manufacturers. An empty cuvette with windows made of this material has a transmission of more than 80 % at wavelengths between 260 nm and 2500 nm.
